So, I was surfing through the NaNoWriMo website today, and found this art under their Fun Stuff badges section. Hopefully in twenty days, I'll have my Winner badge, as well.
Back in the day, I used to be a big Barrel of Monkeys kind of girl. I got to be pretty darn good at it when I was at the tender age of 4 or 5, and could string all the monkeys together without dropping any. Now, I try to string plot threads together without dropping any. I'm not sure I'm as good at that as I was with the monkeys, but who knows?
I wrote 1,720 words today. That's not my best total for a day, but it's also not my worst. Now I'm officially 40% complete. I have also officially completed plot point 1, break into 2, speaking of plot threads.
Hope you all have a good Veterans Day. I, for one, will travel to Tim Hortons at some point to receive my free donut. I hear there are ones with red, white, and blue sprinkles on them. Yum. If you're a veteran, go snag yourselves one, as well, and I'll be back tomorrow.
